Employment Based Greencard - Is it Possible to Change/Correct the Name
Hello,
I need a Suggestion on Changing the name -
I came to US through F1 visa and Converted to H1B and as my long pending issue, my name in the passport was incorrect ( LastName was in Given Name and Vice Versa). I was trying to make this change on passport and never happened.
Right now My stage is at
- Labor Approved
- H1B Expire Dec 31 2014
- Passport Expire Nov 10 2015
And since i have to apply for new passport in Nov 2014 before applying for H1 extension , I was wondering if i can fix my name in new passport application and Can i update my labor application and further GC processing?
I knew i can update on my SSN and Banks etc.
Could you please suggest if can change the name or just leave it as it is?
