EB2 GC application for my spouse and my eligibility to work beyond 7 years on L

I am on L Visa and will be completing 7 years in US by Dec'2015
My spouse is on L2 and a full time employee in US. Her employer is offering to apply GreenCard through EB2 category for her. If her application clears PERM/I-140 before I complete my 7 years, will I be eligible to extend my stay beyond 7 years for work as my GreenCard processing also will be in progress along with her (as a dependent)
