Hello All,
I would appreciate if someone can validate my assumption or provide an input to my case:
I am working for an MNC and I was filed under EB2 and my priority date is Mar 2012, which I think might take several years to become current.
I have an opportunity with my current company to work abroad (outside of US) for a period of time that I desire. I am at a senior manager level in my company. Since I am filed under EB2, would it be possible to file under EB1 when I come back, after I staying abroad for at least a year. I would be managing people abroad and will most likely come back at the same level or better after a year.
I was assuming that international managers (with at least one year experience outside of US) will be qualified under EB1 category. Would this be a good idea or a waste of my time, as I would have to stay abroad with my family.
Please advise.
Thanks,
AJ
