Do I need 5 years experience on top of my master's for an EB2?

My current employer is filling a GC for me in EB2.

The attorney I'm working with is asking for letters from past employers for the last 5 years of full time work (which I do not have).

My understanding was that with EB2 you need either a Master OR Bachelor + 5 years.

The lawyer is saying that they require the 5 years for the PERM certification but I can't find that information anywhere.

Can someone please advice ?

Hi,

as far as I know you don't need 5 years of experience with a master degree for EB-2. I believe master + 2 years are enough to qualify for EB-2. 5 years are necessary if applying with bachelor in the minimum requirements.
