Hi,
I recently completed my PhD in Chemical Engineering from US but finding it very difficult to get a job as many companies are not willing to sponsor. So I want to apply for a green card as I heard I could probably get it due to my PhD degree in STEM field. But I have a 2 year postdoc offer from England and I was wondering if I come back to US by getting another postdoc, which most probably will be on a J-1 visa, after my postdoc in UK, will I lose the advantages/benefits that I have right now if I were to apply for a green card. I do have an offer for a postdoc from US too but I'm attracted to the UK project. Its a hard decision for me to make as its really difficult to get a job in UK after postdoc. I would be really grateful for any kind help.
Thank you,
Sameer
