A year back, my company started and filed my PERM at Sr. Manager position and it got approved 6 months after filing (140 in premium process). I am still on Manager position and now company is trying to delay filing 485 until I become Sr. manger, even though my dates are current. I don't want to wait for another perm to be filed as Manager as it will be approved mostly after another retrogression and my 485 filing will be pushed to next year if the dates progression comes back again.
Is it possible to file 485 even if PERM position is higher position? There have been several thread where person got promoted after 140, but I have not seen any thread where PERM position is higher than current one...
Can someone advise what are my options?
