EB2 Eligibility?

Hi,

Let me know if i have EB2 Eligibility.

From India with 10 + 2 + 4 (B.E. Mech) education. And i have more than 10 years of experience in IT field, among it 6 years in my present company in india. Last year i moved to US and am working for the same company here around 1 year.

Wondering whether my B.E. (MECH) to IT field will affect my EB2 eligibility.

You don't have an "advance degree" ie Masters/PhD.

You don't have "5 years progressive experience in the field" ie working as a mechanical engineer.

Hi,
Thanks for your time.

In one of the education evaluation did by my employer, it states that my B.E. Mech is supposed to be as equal to US "BS with dual major in CS and Engineerring" .

I know its kind of vague, but is this of any help?
Any other ppl have such situations?
