EB GC Employer Change Processing with Old Employer

Hi,

Company 1 has Filed GC . I-140 Approved last year.
I am planning to change to Company 2 who is ready to file GC.
However if Company 2 Files GC and they could not port same Priority Date or any issue happens I want to go back to Company 1.
My concern is not to loose priority date.
Can company 1 keep GC Processing while I am in Company 2 with GC processing? What is the cost for Company1 to keep Application/Priority Date Active ?
What are the chances that Company A revokes or withdraw my GC Application ?

We can not use old Priority Date if Old Employer revokes I-140 ?

That seems to be Mr. Khanna's experience since last month.
He definitely knows what he is doing.
