I was working as a manager in India for my company for 3 years. I then arrived in the US for a technology project and because a couple of L1-A applications were denied my application was processed for L1-B. After the project I was absorbed in the US subsidiary of my company and I continued to work on L-1B. Now a GC has to be initiated and I would like to know that despite being on L-1B can the GC be filed under EB1 category. Does the USCIS allow such application?
