Hi All,
I am currently in H1-B with employer A and got an offer from employer B. Employer B is going to file for my Green Card from the third month of joining them. I am not sure they will file it in EB2 or EB3 option.
I am born in UAE, holding Indian Passport and I know I belong in the priority for the rest of the world.
Now my question is : Which is the best option to get Greencard sooner.
1. EB2 from my employer, and use my UAE country of birth as - rest of the world priority.
2. My wife has a Green Card, Indian Passport holder. Apply GC through her
3. Wife will be a citizen in 6-8 months, apply for Green Card through her after she becomes a citizen.
4. Apply through 1 and 2, Change status when she becomes a citizen.
The advantages of option 1 is I will not have a condition put on my Green Card.
Advantage of Option 2 and 3 is things are pretty straight forward.
Also, I would need 3 years to acquire citizenship if I opt through Option 2 and 3. In my case if I get Green Card through option 1, will it take 3 years or 5 years for citizenship as my spouse already has citizenship?
