relocation while porting from EB to EB2

Hi,

My Employer is working on to port my case from Eb3 to Eb2 category. I have a traveling job to support my clients onsite and I travel to different cities every week and I do not work in IT.
Now I am planning to move to another city as most of clients are in that city and it will help me in less traveling. My question is, would it be ok for me to relocate while the porting process is on? Currently they working on to file the PERM and wondering when it will be safe to move?

The PR petition is for a future job. If you are relocating, that relates to your current job. If you are in H1B status, an H1B amendment needs to be filed, but then again it has nothing to do with your PR petition.
