Hi Team,
I have few questions regarding eligibility for a startup company to start Green Card Processing for it's employees.
1) Can they file Green Card with just one employee?
2) What are the hurdles if any for this start up while filing Green Card or in this process?
3) How much approximately would it cost for the startup if they have to file on EB2 category?
4) If the company shuts down would the GC process terminate abruptly or would there be any tolerance for the employee to use priority dates until next company files LCA and I-140 and use the previous priority dates?
5) If the company gets acquired would the GC petition still be valid and would it be in the same state? Or does the acquiring company have to go over the process again?
6) Would the GC process be faster since the employer has only one candidate? or would it depend on the applications received at USCIS?
Appreciate your response.
Thanks,
Jalli
