Dependent's status after my GC is approved?

Hi, I am here in US on L1A along with my dependents on L2. Due to some circumstances, my company is filing a GC only for me. I understand that after I get my GC, my dependents would go out of status on L2. But is there any grace period for them till when they can stay on legally in US after I get my GC?
Also, what is the waiting time for a GC for my dependents after I get one & file for them based on my GC? Pl help.

I have heard about a 180 day forgiveness period. But you may wanna confirm with someone who specializes in immigration matters.

I have the same issue - I have to file by myself - any answers?

I also have to file just for my self and not my wife for now.
Does any one have more insights on that?
