Green card dependent benefits

My wife just got her I-140 approved and our priority date is current so we will start filling the i-485.
Few things I couldn't find anywhere and I would like to understand better :

- As a GC dependent , do I get the same benefits as her?
- Do I need an EAD to work once I receive the Green Card?
- Am I treated differently as I am not the primary holder?
- Will I be bale to apply for Social Security, etc?


Just trying to understand how it works.

Your status info is not clear from your message. If your wife is applying for a Green Card, you are not included unless she applies for you separately
