My company filed my PERM few months back and the PWD papers were filled last month. I am still waiting to hear from DOL.
The issue is that I was given a promotion right when the company started my green card process. So my title changed from Data Scientist to Sr Data Scientist but the salary did not change. I was told that since my green card process just started it was not advisable. Now that PWD is pending I am going to ask the company to look into the issue again.
Will there be an issue with my PWD / Green card process if the company gives me 10% hike in salary ? I want to do this before the advertise the position. Because I feel that if I stay on this current salary after they advertise the position I may not be able to get the hike as the advertised position will be have a lower salary.
