Green Card Application from India

Hello

I have been in US from Jan 2007 till 2012 March. And have been in india for sometime in middle. So overall, a little more than 5 yrs in US and then returned back to India.
I'm still with the same employer and have been working in India since 2012 Mar till date ( Dec 2015)
I wanted to know if I can file a Green Card now from India through my employer. So that the process is started?
