I have a non-clets mutual restraining order. It was initially filed as DVTRO in family court (it is a civil case and there was no arrest not there was any involvment of law enforcemt), but judge after careful consideration ordered a mutual non-clets order.
Since it is non-clets it is not recorded into any law enforcement systems.
- Does it impact my permanent residency application.
- Does it even come up during the green card interview (or does it come up at any stage during permanent residency process).
- Does USCIS ask candidates to disclose even civil restraining orders as part of the application.
