Hi All,
I had a situation back in 2008, I am working in a company called ABC India from June 2007.
In May 2008 I took sick leave and traveled to US on H1B of a different company XYZ thinking i would send the resignation after my consultant finds me a job. Because of the recession my consultant could not set up any interviews for me. So after 60 days I returned back to India and joined company ABC India back.
In 2012, I got my H1B filed with company ABC, with the old petition from XYZ (so that I do not come under yearly cap). I traveled to US in 2013 and still working with the same ABC company.
Now ABC US company has started Green card processing for me. Can you please let me know if the 60 day travel to US with a diff company XYZ while I was still working with company ABC India will be a problem. Appreciate you quick response.
