I'm on L1b visa. My employer started the greencard process.
I read a lot of contradictions regarding what happens when someone gets laid-off.
1 - What happens if someone gets laid-off druing the PERM (when the PERM was submitted, but not approved yet)? Do I need to start from the beginning?
2 - Are layoffs only relevant when the layoffs happen due to Reductions in Force or even when people were fired due to perfomance problems?
3 - Is there any point in the process from which there is no risk of the layoffs of any kind?
