Dear Sir/ Madam,

My family and I currently hold an immigrant visa based on employment, we wanted to use the visa for a 2 weeks holiday in the United States, and then come back in United Kingdom after.

I will not start my employment yet in the United States due to the fact that I still need to settle my obligations first in the hospital where I work. My query is - Is it possible to use our visa for a holiday? Can we use it again if we decided to go back to U.S. after 6 months? Please assist me with my concerns.

US immigrant visa is only valid for one entry. Once you enter US on it, you become permanent resident (Greencard holder). You can use that greencard to go in and out of US.
