I wouldnt know the answer to question 1. But for ques 2, most companies that do extensive recruiting in India to send people to the US (body shoppers) do so because people already in the US will not join them. This may be for several reasons including not paying on time, false promises, pay too low... so its better to go with companies that do not do such extensive recruiting in India.

2)Are they really recruiting people from India ?
