does uscis ever call you directly ?

Hey,

I have I-140 approved under eB1c. and waiting for I-485. Do USCIS ever call you directly to claify anything ?
Also do they go about doing an phising, posing as calling for survey etc and asking for details ?

Yes they do make direct calls when necessary.
