Eligibility for GC in EB-2 ?

Hi,

I have Masters in Computer Application and Bachelors in Computer Application from India. I have been employed in USA since 1st October 2006. I have around 2.5 years of experience in India also. Am I eligible to file for GC in EB2? My employer is willing for filing my GC but he is just not sure if I am eligible.

Please advise.

As long as your current job description from the employer shows a master degree as a requirement for the job then you should be OK. Work experience is secondary, make sure the job description document lists master's degree. If it is not clear in the document, there is a good chance that the USCIS may do an audit to get more information about the job.
