I am on B1 Visa which is valid for 10yrs multiple entry. I wanted to know if i can file for GC as the Priority dates are current.
Here are my concerns.
I am on B1, got my I94 which ends Aug, i need to go for any extension anyway.
Do you think the PD will stay current till my labour gets cleared, if I apply for fresh GC?
if I am stuck at the Labour getting approved, do you forsee any problem when i enter US again on my existing B1?
If I get my LC approved and the PD doesnt remain current, what is my option? can i still enter/exit US without any problem?
Do you suggest to get the recruitment process done now, so that we can file for the labour when the PD will become current again?
How long is the recruitment process valid?
Do you see any problem in filing for my green card. How do you suggest me to go about it. My employer is ready to file my GC but is worried about the fact that the PD might not be current till i get my labour cleared and if my labour gets stuck then i might have problem in getting entry into US again on B1.
