Birth certifcate for I-485: Urgent help

Hi Friends,

1. My birth cerfitcate from India doesn't have my name listed, just 'M' for male. Can I take an affidavit from parents and submit or is the name a 'must'?

2. I lived in Singapore for over an yr before coming here on L-1A visa, is police cleanance required? My application is being filed under EB-1 category

You need an affidavit, i didn't have a name on mine either. My lawyer suggested i get an affidavit done by either one of my parents. Check with your lawyer for the template to create an affidavit
