Marriage Certificate Question for I-485

If someone has a similar situation or knows of a solution to this please help-
I have been married for over a year but due to time constraints we were not able to register our marriage in India, so we do not have a marriage license available. In this case, where I have to send in a Marriage license to get my wife on to the current I-485 process before Aug 17th...What should we be doing- does anyone know, if we get married in the court here and produce that certificate (the date will be as of NOW and not last years)..will that help or just an affidavit from our parents would suffice?

send the affidavits now and the certificate later, alternatively you can get a certificate from India consulate check with one nearest you.
