I am moving from H-1 to green card in a university. I have a bachelors degree and my position is funded and such. One requirement I am confused about is previous experiences. Before H-1 I was F-1 and most of the work experiences are from student jobs (similar to what I am doing now) and I have been working at this place for last five years but the F-1 jobs was same university but different department. Will this complicate things? Anyone has suggestions?
I am guessing the lawyer can show that my work was with different department and essentially different than my current job.
