my visa type is f2a and priority date is 15jan2004.plz tell me when it will become current.i am worrying about it.

It's current for May 2003 PD assuming not Mexico chargeability. Probably a year so is my guess.

Your case will become current about this December 2008; but usually the NVC contacts the applicants and the petitioner 9 months before it becomes current, so you can start doing the process. You should have already been contacted by them at this point. My priority date is much later than yours, and the NVC already sent me many papers, and I already returned them with fees, etc. I am waiting for the appoitment letter.
