Can someone shed more light on the numbers from the released statistics?
Under the section VI, Part 2 has preliminary date for Employment based GCs. I am surprised by the numbers for India here
for
EB1 - 104
EB2 - 207
EB3 - 2146
These seem very low for number of GCs that would have been approved under employment based categories. The grand totals also seem low.
Can anyone provide their thoughts on these low numbers? Am I reading the right report? I am assuming that at this rate, all the July 07 filers would have to wait till their retirement to get their GCs.
I think Section V numbers make more sense. What is the difference between section V and section VI?
Under section V, http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/FY07...rtTableVp2.pdf
EB1 - 2855
EB2 - 6203
EB3 - 17795
I think I got my answer, section V is for AOS and section VI for CP.
