H1-B to GC

Hi,

I just got my H1-B approved, it's going to be from 10/01/08 - 10/01/11, I been in US with a TN visa for the last 18 months, how long should I wait before I fill a GC application, my attorney told me that I classify under EB-2 because I have more than 10 years of experience in my field (out of US), but allways working for an american company (not my current employer), it's valid this experience?

You could have started your green card process yesterday or 2 years in advance to be honest. GC is for future employment and has got nothing to do with what you do now.
