Travel after applying for LC

Hi I am currently on H1B visa expiring Dec 09 (will complete 4 yr out of 6).
Currently in the 3rd yr of H1 B
I am planning to apply for GC and as per the process i would first have to apply
for PERM LC.
I have plans to visit India in Feb 09 so want to know if it is possible that i can travel outside USA while I have applied for PERM LC (assuming it would be still pending until Feb 09).

Labor has got nothing to do with your travel plans. Thank god! People that had Labor pending for 5 years at backlog elimination centers were lucky!
