Getting Divorced and Spouse Legal Status

EAD Approved ( for Both )
AP Approved ( for Both )
I-485 Pending

Having some troublesome marriege life. Planning to get seperated. As far as i know if if i file for divorce, my spouse's GC file will be cancelled and will be out of status.

I don't want my spouse to get out of status. Is there any other way ? If we get seperated and not file for divorce, what will be leagal effect to our GC application ?

There is no other way unless your spouse maintains a own status like F1, H1 etc. Otherwise, making the marriage work is the only way.
