Green Card Processing - Non Profit Organization

Hi ,

Currently i am working for a non profit organization. I am planning to starting my GC through them from next month. But i came to know that they are closing thier whole unit by 2012. As they are going to complete thier projects by then. So how this is going to effect my process.

What would be a better option.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

If ...

... you have applied for your I485 and it's been six months, you may, just may be good. Else, you'll lose the GC application and will have to start all over again with another company.

I'd suggest you speak with the company as they can probably close the unit but continue with the GC process for you.
