EAD or H1?

Hi everyone!


I am currently on H1b Status.
I applied for 485 and 140 concurrently and 140 is approved.6 months is passed.
USCIS sent the 140 notice saying that its approved but as the employer address was changed it got returned back.
Employer applied for change in address.
This is our situation now,is it safe to go with EAD as my new position requires EAD?If so how to process with EAD?

Please advice.
