Husband and Wife from Different Countries. How to apply for EB1

Both my wife and I (just married) hold Phd degrees in Business are will be employed in a tenure track position at major universities. I am from India and she is Romanian. How does this complicate the GC process. Can she apply and I join in or Should I apply and have her join in. Both of us have several international conferences, over 3 years of research experience and teaching as well. We also have journal articles together and individually and have served on a few committees to review articles for journals and conferences.

Will this take longer or is there some hope for my case. Thanks

If the case EB-1, it's current for both countries. I would go with whoever has the strongest EB-1 case and add the other in I-485. Consult an attorney.
