Husband and Wife from Different Countries. How to apply for Green Card under EB2

Both my wife and I (just married) hold Phd degrees in Business are will be employed in a tenure track position at major universities. I am from India but she is a Romanian citizen. How does this complicate the GC process. Can she apply and I join in or Should I apply and have her join in. Both of us have several international conferences, over 3 years of research experience and teaching as well. We also have 2 journal articles together and 1 individually (each) and we have served on a few committees to review articles for journals and conferences. No citations as of date since the publications are so new.

What is the process under EB2 can she apply and I join in later since Indian applications under EB2 take several years. Thanks

Either one can be primary, but let the country of chargebility be Romania.
