I am currently on L1-A visa working as a Manager. Seven years of my visa will expire in October 2010. I have filed for my I-140 few days back in EB-2 category.
I was under impression that I can extend my stay if I-140 was filed one year in advance. Now I come to know that applies only for H-1.
If my company and attorney are okay with filing another I-140 in EB-1 category, would anyone know if there would be any problems? Also, would you recommend to file in parallel or I should wait till my EB-2 I-140 gets appoved.
Please give your advice. If someone has done it earlier, please share your experience.
