Hi,
pls give your advice on the following:
i have been working in the US for the past 5 years on h1 and i am in the last year of my h1. i have applied for my green card and my 140 is approved and waiting for eb3 priority dates to apply for 485. i am in india now for a vacation and looks like i might have to extend my vacation for few months. since my visa is expiring my employer has asked me to be in us by sep-oct so that i could file my extension.
1. can i extend my h1 from india if i am not able to make it to US by sep-oct.
2. will this break of 6-months affect my gc processing.
3. can i apply for immigrant visa/485 whicever is applicable from india if the priority dates become current when i am in india.
