Promotion during Greencard

Hello,

My Employer has filed labor for the greencard process. My question is can I get promoted during this period? Does that effect my green card process.

Depends. In many cases, no as the position that you plan to undertake in the future is what is in the GC labor.

Many companies see such delays and do diligence in filing labor for a future position than a current position.

You should talk to the company HR and the lawyer that filed the labor to see possibilities as a forum cannot provide you much without knowing the details of the position and the description.
