status and marriage

So, my wife and I filed the I-130 and I-845 but she didnt make enough money to sponsor me. I am here on a student visa and I may not be able to attend school this semester because we have already spent a lot of money on the paperwork. That means that I may lose my student status. Does that mean that I will be here illegaly even if my wife filed the initial forms for me? What do I do?> Help
