The candidate is a Software Developer.

Can an employer file for his green card in EB2 category, if his qualifications are:

US Equivalent:
1) Bachelor of Business Administration (Major: Computer Information Systems)
2) Master of Business Administration (General).

EB2 or EB3 both are useless. The candidate will only get his green card after retirement. Best is dont dream about green card and save maximum $$ during his stay here.

You are assuming that the person belongs to a backlogged country. All others except India and China will be fine.

What they can apply GC under depends on what the job requires and then what the candidate has.
