when to buy a house

Hi,
My PD is feb 2009 for EB2.I am an Indian national.
Currently my I-140 is approved and my H1 6 yrs are expiring in Jul 2010.
I am under the process of filing H1-Extn through a reputed company.

I am thinking of buying new house in US.
Which option is okay for me?

a)Buy a house now
b)Wait for H1 extn approval
c)wait for GC (might take 4 years)

What are the risks if i go for option a or b.

It is really up to you. If you don't have green card and if you have to leave the US or if you are not allowed to enter the US for some reason, that would cause you a big problem.

But I am thinking,if i get 3 years visa extension,that ensures that i am okay for 3 years at least.
Job looks stable too.

Is there any reader in the same boat as me?
