EB3 Green Card Processing - Canadian Citizen

Hi,

My US employer has filed for my immigration petition under EB3 category. In the visa bulletin, I noticed that the processing date for immigration is different for India, China and Phillipines. I am not sure what will be the processing dates for Canada (e.g. canadian citizens). Whether it will be faster than for India or not.

Originally, I am indian citizen and then I received my canadian citizenship. Is there in impact of country of citizenship on immigration processing date?

US immigration goes by country of birth and not current country of citizenship.

You will fall under India.

If you were born in Canada, you will fall under 'Rest of the world', which is listed in the column 'All Chargeability areas Except Those Listed'. It is faster than India.
