Green card Sponsorship for an L1 visa holder by a different company

Hi All,

I wanted to know, can a US company (with a labor certification) sponsor a green card for an L1 Visa holder, already employed in the US by another company (which originally sponsored his L1 visa)?
My L1 Visa will end next year, my current company will not sponsor a green card, and I would like to know if I have any other options.
