EB2 to EB1 porting

My priority date for EB2 VISA is Jun 2016.

I am planning to work from India for 1 year and come back as a manager on L1A VISA. My question is, if my company files on EB1-C (when I return), will my priority date be kept the same from EB2 (Jun2016) or will it be a fresh data?

I guess that's what everybody did & then hence EB1-C's wait time is also 5 years now.
