Queries : EB1C filing during my 5th year of L1a

I have completed 4 years of stay in USA on L1a.Can I apply for GC while I am on my 5th year in USA?
Also if we file AOS when PD is current, EAD is issues only after AOS is approved? If yes then I will have to get EAD,AOS all approved before i complete my 7 years in US
Did I miss anything else?

You can apply GC anytime. your employer needs to file i140 under EB1C

You can submit 485 AOS forms only when your final action date is current or USCIS accepting date of filing.
as of now - FAD is Jan 2021 and DOF Nov 2020

you will get EAD only after AOS filing whenever applicable to you. After EAD you don’t need any further extension of L1A and continue on EAD till you get GC.
