  • EB2 Eligibility

Senior members please need help on evaluation for my EB2 eligibility.

    Experience:-

    2003-2007 Employer A
    2007-2008 Employer B
    2009- Present Employer C - (USA)

    Education:-
    Bachelors- 4 years Engineering
Masters- 2 Years MBA - USA

Employer C wants to file for EB2 category for GC , will this be okay to file for EB2 or its risky.
Also would like to know if there is any salary cuttoff or pay required to file for EB2 category.

If the job from the employer meets the EB2 specifications, you seem to have the qualifications to qualify for the EB2 petition. The important thing is the job requiring Bach +5 or MS +2 at a minimum.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

      Thanks for your prompt response.

so would i have to be promoted first to a manager's position from lead engineer to get EB2 specifications satisfied or i can apply on current position...please advise.

Do my salary have to be at some definite $$ amount to file for EB2 or in other words depends on newyork state prevailing wages for EB2.

          Hi,

I did my MCA from India which was for 3 years. So my total education is BSc(3 years) + MCA(3 years). Am I eligible for EB2 processing?

TxH1B appreciate any feedback from you regarding this.

          Thanks,
          Shree
