EB2 application approved but spouse's still pending

Hi,
This last week I received an update of "card in production". I am an EB2 applicant and my husband and I have been having the same updates. Two weeks ago both "case was updated to show fingerprints were taken", however, he has not got the "card in production" update. Is this normal? We have submitted all of our applications jointly and a month ago the medical exams. Any guidance would be very helpful here. Thank you!

Yes, this is common. Sometimes it takes days/weeks/months from the principal approval to the dependent approval. Sometimes they even send the card without updating online. The only thing to do is keep waiting and opening SR every month or so. I hope they send both cards, good luck.
