processing green card from india

Hello All,
I have applied for I-140 in august 2010 month and waiting for approval. I want to know is it possible once I-140 approved or in process, can i continue my remaining greed card process from India.

If yes then is it required for my employer to run payroll in same way or what is the required process.

I am looking for some solution so that i can continue my green card process.
