Mothers Name mismatch in Passport and Birth Certificate

Hi All,

Please suggest what can be done for handling mismatch in my mothers name in Passport and in birth certificate for i485, the spelling of mothers name is different in passport and BC though they rhyme same.
My first passport was issued 12 yrs back which had this incorrect spelling and birth certificate was issued last year. Please suggest how this situation can be handled to avoid RFE. Thanks
